Building Powerful Women
POLITICALLY

Membership in BPW is open to anyone with only one requirement: support our political platform. This by no means implies that we all agree on all political issues or that we all belong to the same political party. BPW's political platform centers on women and families as the leading advocate for working women. Our legislative committee focuses on local state and national issues that are related to our political platform. For more about the activities of our legislative committee click here.
First and foremost in our efforts is the ratification of the ERA. To find out more about ERA, click here. However, most of our activities focus on education, helping our members be informed voters and learning how to become politically active.
