Cynthia Jenkins has been a wonderful BPW sister since February 2006. Cynthia was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is happily married with three children and four grandchildren. She graduated from Eckerd College with a BA in Business Management and an American Studies Minor. She loves Eckerd College so much she is currently working there as Administrative Support. She served as Staff Chair in 2001-2002 which was one of her greatest challenges and experiences that built her confidence to be a leader.

Cynthia is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, National Council of Negro Women (she is the Financial Secretary) and Student Advisory Council at Lakewood High School. Cynthia’s professional goal is to finish her masters in Business Administration. Her personal passion is working closely with teachers, parents and students in the educational system. More importantly, she enjoys serving the community in different capacities.

At Cynthia’s first BPW meeting, she felt the need to belong with a group of strong professional women with a goal in mind. Everyone in our group can agree that Cynthia has been a wonderful addition to our family.
