During my real job I find people a piece of their dreams. I work alot with first time homebuyers and they need guidance through the process. It's very rewarding seeing the smile on their face when they get their home.I also help people move up into their next home helping them sell the existing one and finding a new one. I am also an expert in customer service. People have been my business for years.

I've been a hairstylist for 26 years. In my career I taught Cosmetology, served as Director of Education for a Distributorship, managed several salons, worked as a make up artist and dabbled in esthetics and nails. I also sold cars, makeup and worked in retail stores.

Other community activities I am a member of Beta Sigma Phi a womens service orgaization. I have been involved for 27 years and have held various offices.

My birthplace was Watertown, SD. I grew up on a farm. I later moved to Minneapolis, Mn to experiece the city life and later moving to Colorado then California. I have lived in Florida for 7 months.

My most notable accomplishments were being Mrs. Colorado International . While I was Mrs. Colorado I was able to have a larger audience I could speak to on issues I thought were important. Secondly raising two wonderful children through the bad times by myself.

Something you might not know about me I have sailed with my husband alone in the E & W Carribbean, South and Central America and Mexico transitting the Panama Canal twice. We sold everything we had in 2000, moved on the boat and lived on her for 6 years. This was an incredible experience teaching me you can live with less. We have plans of a circumnavigation sometime in the future.

My professional goals are to build my real estate business and to look for other career opportunities along the way.

Personally I would like to publish a children't book and wirte one on my experiences cruisiing on our boat. I would also like to skydive this year, continue to see the world and polish my skills scuba diving.

My words of wisdom are this: Don't wait until you retire to enjoy the things you want to do.

I joined BP because I wanted to be surrounded by positive women who had similar interests and objectives in life. I have been a member for 4 months.
